The Z1 custom tube adaptor is required for Z1 operation.
It adapts a standard 22mm Cpap hose to the outlet on the Z1.
It was designed to reduce the size of the Z1 and conform the adapter to be part of your hose/tube rather than part of the Cpap machine itself.
I purchased my machine from a different company and I wasn’t happy because they just sold me the machine and left me hanging. I called CPAP Clinic and Leo helped with my mask. She was helpful and very knowledgeable. I will continue to deal with them from now on.
