Humidifier Elbow Seal for Respironics System One 60 & 50 Series Machines
The Humidifier Elbow Seal for PR System One 60 and 50 Series Machines is a replaceable silicone ring located on the underside of the humidifier lid around the base of the humidifier elbow.
This seal was designed to prevent moisture from escaping around the humidifier elbow. Compatible Machines: 50 Series PR System One Humidifiers (ivory side panels) 60 Series PR System One Humidifiers (light silver side panels)
Replacing the Seal
The seal should be replaced if it is torn or if moisture is present around the humidifier elbow. To install the replacement seal:
Step 1: Lift the Humidifier Lid and Remove the Chamber
Step 2: Looking at the Underside of the Lifted Humidifier Lid, Locate the Clear Silicone Seal around the Base of the Hose Elbow
Step 3: Grasp the Rolled Edges of the Seal and Pull it away from the Humidifier Lid
Step 4: Position the Replacement Seal around the Hose Elbow Base and Push it into Place
Step 5: Replace the Humidifier Chamber and Close the Lid Specifications:

I was happy to be able to buy just the cushion for the mask, although I did feel it was very expensive at $75. It seems to have increased to more than double in the past year. However, it was shipped promptly and received within three days and there were no shipping charges. I hope we will continue to be able to buy parts for the mask and hope they will not increase anymore in price. It is cheaper to buy a complete mask, but if you have a few masks on hand that only need one or two parts it does not make sense to throw them out.
