Taking PAP with you

Traveling Soon?

Travel season is here and we know how important it is to stay on course with your sleep therapy. Certainly, nobody wants to have their activities limited by the unforeseen. Thankfully, recent advances in technology have produced additional options for the PAP user who travels frequently, such as the Z1 CPAP or Z1 APAP machines.

Z1 Travel CPAP Machine

Imagine being able to pack a CPAP machine weighing less than a can of soda pop into a briefcase or tote bag. The Z1 Travel CPAP Machine makes it a reality.

NOTE: The Z1 CPAP  is a single pressure machine which delivers it all night long. It includes advanced features found on much larger machines, thus meeting therapy needs while traveling or at home.

Features

  • Small & Light
  • Diminutive Size & Shape
  • Ultra-Quiet Operation
  • Z-Breathe Pressure Relief
  • Auto Altitude Adjusting
  • Leak Compensation
  • Ramp Feature
  • OPTIONAL Integrated Battery
  • Free Data Viewing Software

The Z1 CPAP machine`s small size makes this machine great for putting in a carry-on, overnight bag or backpack. When used at home, the small size takes up little space on the bedside table. Tiny rubber pads on the machine base help to stabilize the unit. It weighs just 10 ounces and measures 6.48″ L x 3.3″ W x 2.02″.

Quiet Operations

The Z1 CPAP Machine operates at 26 dBA, assuring it to be one of the quietest machines on the market. What does 26 decibels sound like? A very quiet room fan 3 feet away and set to a low speed is noted as 35dBA

Computer Connection Capability (with APAP Z1 version)

Z1 PowerShell with Battery

Take the Z1 Travel CPAP Machine wherever you go with the Z1 PowerShell with Battery.  The curved ‘shell’ of the PowerShell holds the machine and overnight battery securely together. The Overnight Battery comes attached to the Battery Shuttle. Insert the battery and shuttle into the lower portion of the PowerShell. Next insert the Z1 Machine into the upper portion of the PowerShell. The PowerShell comes with a handy Lanyard allowing the Z1 and Battery to be hung from a headboard or tent pole!

The PowerShell integrates a Z1 CPAP Machine with the Overnight Battery. This Lithium Ion battery is lightweight and small in size, the battery with attached shuttle is 4 in. x 3.75 in. x 1.5 in. and weighs 9.8 ounces. It is estimated to power the Z1 CPAP machine running a pressure of 14 cmH2O for 8 plus hours. Note that the battery run time varies based on the pressure setting of the machine.

Charging The Battery

To charge the PoweShell, insert the battery into the PowerShell. The Z1 power cord charges the battery. The Z1 CPAP machine is not required to be inserted into the PowerShell for charging. If the machine is in place, when charging, the battery icon on the machine screen flashes. When the charge process is complete, the battery icon no longer flashes, indicating a fully charged battery. Battery charge information is not available if the machine is not in the PowerShell.

Lastly. consider one of these remarkable units for your next trip! Not only are they convenient but they make great sleep happen wherever you go.
