What You Don’t Know About PAP Masks Can Harm Your Sleep?

Not all PAP masks are equal.

There are roughly six applications of PAP interfaces, like nasal, nasal pillows, full face-mask, mouth-specific, hybrid masks and total face.

Several great benefits present themselves with any previously mentioned interface.

Let’s take a look at what those benefits are:

1) Great fit
2) Terrific comfort
3) Allow for most breathing tendencies
4) Provide enough support for a consistent full night’s rest.
5) Work very well with any pressure setting from a PAP device

Consider this.

If any of the above standards are not met, your sleep quality suffers.

Period.

So what should a PAP user do when shopping?

Here’s a strategy:

Shop local PAP supply vendors and ask if you can sample different masks either during your visit or on a night-to-night trial basis. Some online vendors do the same.

Please note: a deposit might apply for any trial.

The moral of the story?

Try before you buy. It might be cliché but it’s sound advice.

Plus, once you are satisfied with the mask you decide on, your chances of poor sleep quality practically disappear.

Great sleep beckons you!
