Most CPAP machines today have 2 filter options: Pollen and Ultrafine. Pollen filters can be reused and therefore more cost effective. The pollen filter will filter out larger particles like pollen, dust and pet dander. Pollen filters will not filter out microbial particles (i.e. viral and bacterial particles). Ultra-fine Filters will filter out smaller particles, but are not reusable.Pollen filters are the reusable counterpart to Ultra-fine Filters which are disposable. Pollen filters can be washed and reused up to 5 times or until they become deteriorated.
Wow Fast and very helpful srvice
My local Vancouver Island CPAP store wanted $2400 for an S10 RESMED including $400 extra for the humidifier tank that already comes with the machine. They also told me that I couldn t get extended medical insurance if I bought online. Wow , this is totally untrue. I found CPAP clinic through several references on a CPAP forum. Talked to the manager on the phone and got the same machine for $980, delivered to my home at no extra cost and my extended medical insurance paid for it. The service offered by CPAP Clinic is great. Outstanding provider for both CPAP equipment and assistance
As a CPAP user for over 6 years, I was delighted to find CPAP Clinic about 4 years ago. After my experience with 2 other providers they are in a league of their own. Over the last period of 4 years I have bought online or just walked in and the service is always the same - helpful, knowledgeable, fast and reliable and, in comparison to other providers, extremely reasonable costs. I must thank Melissa, Julie, Bill and Alex who have each helped me at one time or another for their patience and assistance in improving my CPAP experience. I just bought my 2nd machine after 5 years - Airsense 10 - and I am amazed at the improvement the experience. I highly recommend the CPAP Clinic for anyone needing CPAP material or assistance.

Would highly recommend this company....very helpful and knowledgeable staff.... they will assist you every step of the way starting from the time you are gathering information on which products should you get, which machine would work for your condition, any compatibility issues, etc. up to the point where making it sure that everything will be covered with regards to insurance benefit claims. with regards to the pricing, it is definitely way lower compared to other clinics.
